I am a FIRE Starter because... I wish to challenge others to view diversity not as a collection of labels but as a spectrum. It is my hope that Notre Dame will grow to acknowledge the human condition that binds all community members together and celebrate the differences that allow us to stand as individuals. It is so important that this campus confront and discuss topics such as sexual assault, body image, sexual orientation and gender identity. It's not just about starting a conversation; it's about ending a silence.
My favorite thing about Notre Dame is... the collective pride in the Notre Dame family. When you set foot on campus, you become more than just part of a university; you join in the legacy of tradition and spirituality..
A fun fact about me is... I can't walk downhill without skipping.
