Campus Wide
The GRC sponsors campus-wide programs that are open to everyone in the Notre Dame community. The availability of these programs can vary from year to year, but may include:
- Relationships 101
- A category of programs that focus on more light-hearted relationship topics, such as dating and relating, and are intended to be more entertaining
- Examples: He Said, She Said; Notre Dating in the Dark; Relationships Science Theater 3000
- Signature Series
- A series spread throughout the academic year that utilizes the wisdom of faculty, staff and students through a variety of formats to cover the breadth of topics the GRC addresses
- Examples: It's Complicated: Relationships, Courtship and Marriage; Made in God's Image: Sexuality and the Sacred; Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger: Competition and Perfectionism
- Awareness Weeks
- Body Image and Eating Disorders Awareness Week - raises awareness about body image issues and eating disorders and educates about resources on campus
- Sexual Assault Awareness Week - raises awareness that rape and sexual assault affect members of the Notre Dame community and seeks to promote healing as part of the Violence Prevention Initiative
- Stand Against Hate Week (with Core Council) - dedicated to ending all forms of hate against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and serves to create an inclusive spirit at Notre Dame for all people, irrespective of sexual orientation and gender identity
- Violence Prevention Initiative (VPI)
- Year-round curriculum of events that raises awareness about violence, promotes healing and prevention, raises funds for local non-profits and serves as a flagship for programming on Catholic campuses
- National Presenters
- Nationally-known speakers and presentations that share expertise and wisdom on issues of relationships, gender and sexuality
- Examples: Jackson Katz; Jean Kilbourne; Catharsis Productions, Sex Signals
