Student Involvement
The Graphic Designer is a student employee within the GRC who assists each FIRE Starter group in creating advertising and marketing materials.

The graphic designer will work on a variety of design needs including, but not limited to flyers, swag designs, social media designs, and t-shirts.

Position Description

The GRC has 1 graphic designer position available. Graphic designers can be any class year and should schedule a minimum of 3 hours per week in the office with another 2-3 hours of work from home per week. They are paid $16/hour. Graphic designers should have Adobe Creative Suite, vector-based graphics, Google suite, and Canva capabilities. The graphic designer is expected to have strong time management and communication skills as there may be quick turnaround times for projects.

They may also be asked to update the website. Ideally, applicants will be involved in the GRC as a Firestarter. The graphic designer is not asked to move-in early, but may be asked to do a few hours remotely prior to the start of school.
