Emily Orsini

Biography

Emily Orsini currently serves as the Director of the Gender Relations Center (GRC). In this role, Emily provides strategic leadership to the GRC, collaborating with its team, the Belonging and Engagement Area, and the Division to bring support and expertise in the topics of gender, sexuality, and identity formation consistent with the University’s Catholic, Holy Cross mission.

Previously, Emily was the Program Director for New Students and Formation Programs. In that role, she led the planning and implementation of orientation programs for more than 2,200 incoming undergraduate students each year. She supported student leadership development through initiatives such as the Welcome Weekend Student Leaders and Senior Fellows programs. She also worked across the Division of Student Affairs to strengthen leadership development efforts and share best practices.

Earlier in her career, Emily worked as Rector of Pasquerilla West Hall, where she focused on pastoral care, building community, and mentoring student leaders in a residence hall of 250 students. She has also partnered with the Gender Relations Center, contributed to the People With Hope to Bring program through second appointments, and taught in the Moreau First Year Studies program, where she guided first-year students through their transition to college life.
