Arlene F. Montevecchio is a native of International Falls, Minnesota. She attended St. Norbert College and studied Religious Studies, English, and Peace and Justice Studies. From there, Arlene received a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School with an emphasis in Christianity, Ethics, and Politics.
Arlene joined the Gender Relations Center as Director in September of 2021. She previously served five years as Director of the Center for Spirituality at Saint Mary's College and seven years as Director of the Center for Social Concerns at Gannon University.
Arlene enjoys reading, spending time in nature, and traveling. She lives in South Bend with her spouse, Caesar; sons, Andrew and Damian; and cat, Lucia.
