Authenticity and Identity
Through various events and initiatives, the Authenticity and Identity focus area supports undergraduate and graduate students as they explore the many facets of their identity--recognizing their own inherent dignity and that of others. Through peer education and creative programming, this area addresses gender identity for both men and women, intersecting identities, and personal formation, empowering every student to live authentically.

Programs
Workshop: Beyond Bossy
The “Beyond Bossy” workshop creates space to explore and address the particular challenges that women experience in the workplace, classroom, and interpersonal settings. By integrating theoretical insights with practical examples, participants will leave with tools to identify biases and address them respectfully. Ultimately, these tools help cultivate a campus community where women can confidently lead and feel supported.
Schedule the Beyond Bossy workshop here.
Workshop: Take Time to Listen
This workshop fosters conversation about joys, struggles, and resources for undergraduate and graduate men at Notre Dame. In both highlighting the societal forces particularly affecting men today and reflecting on the diverse mosaic of male exemplars on campus and beyond, students will be able to help cultivate authentic community within and outside male spaces at the University.
